We have strived continuously for more than a decade our organization in the field of EPC as a successful contractor and company. We are having a tidy work shop as it’s a company asset and adequately equipped with all plants and machinery. All the precision works and production of PEB material, fabrication of steel structures, will be carried out at the work shop. We have been awarded as a successful erector and also as a service provider in several projects.

Tracking Our Process:

To track our process and performance, engineering, health and safety (EH&S) audit sir performed every SNA Engineering owned or partnership facility nationwide on year wise schedule. The decision on when to perform an audit is based on potential risk determined by the company and takes into consideration partnership interests, the partner, operator, site to location, previous compliance history and known or suspected problems. Audits are varied in scope from very limited compliance areas to very broad/multi-faceted issues.

These audits coupled with the extensive EH&S policies and procedures present at each of the companies, demonstrate SNA Engineering commitment to meet and wherever possible, exceed all EH&S regulations that affect our operations.

Engineering standards, Design and Engineering:

SNA Engineering strengths help to convert complex and expensive conventional steel buildings into simpler and economical pre-designed, Pre-engineered buildings without sacrificing utility and function. SNA Engineering pre-engineering constructions are custom-designed solutions to meet the needs of the customer. All buildings and other structures are designed and constructed in accordance with the Indian standards for applicable load. They are designed and manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of the following codes:

  • IS 800:2007
  • IS 875
  • Other International standards depending upon clients.

Design coordination’s are comprehensive and explanations are furnished to enable the consultants and clients in understanding the design of SNA Engineering pre engineer buildings and a TS Copy will be provided for further reference.

Primary Structure Framing Systems: SNA Engineering buildings are optimized to meet specific requirements of each client. Commonly used primary framing systems are as below. All frames listed are symmetrical about the ridge line. Framing systems asymmetrical about the ridge line, multi-span systems with unequal width modules and frames outside the ranges listed are possible, but require special study.

Primary Framing Consists Of All Structural Elements As Below:
  • Intermediate frames
  • End wall frames
  • Wind bracings

  • Mezzanine beams and joists

Primary framing is manufactured such that only bolted connections are required.

Secondary Structure Framing Systems: Secondary framing consists of elements which support the roof and wall sheeting and transfer load to the primary framing. These include roof purlins, wall girts, eave struts, cleets etc.

Roof Purlins: Roof purlins are cold-formed Z profiles, normally 200 to 250 mm deep out of 1.6 to 3.15 mm thick steel. These are fixed to the top flanges of the rafters by means of cleets bolted to the rafters, and the purlin web bolted to the cleets. Purlin ends overlap to act as continuous beams.

Wall Girts: Wall girts are cold-formed Z sections, normally 200 to 250 mm deep out of 1.6 to 3.15 mm thick steel. These are fixed to the outer flange of the side wall columns. There are two types of fixations:

  1. Fixed to the outer flange of the side wall columns by means of cleets bolted to the column and girt web bolted to the cleets. Overlap connections are provided for continuous beam action.
  2. End wall girts and flush girts on side walls are normally flushed to the outer flange of the columns by means of cleets which are bolted to the column web and girt web bolted to the cleets.

Eave Struts: Eave struts are C profiles or double Z profiles, normally 200 to 250 mm deep out of 2 to 3.15 mm thick steel. These are fixed to the outer flange of the side wall columns by means of cleets bolted to the column and eave strut bottom flange bolted to the cleets. Roof purlins also act as wind struts and enable transfer of strut load to the side wall columns through adequate bracing.

Cranes In Buildings: SNA Engineering pre-engineered buildings can be designed to accept most types of crane systems such as EOT, monorail, under-hung cranes and other load carrying devices like conveyors etc., in both clear-span and multi-span buildings. When a crane system is to be integrated, SNA Engineering scope is limited to brackets and crane runway beams which support the crane system. Complete information on the crane system is required in order to design and estimate buildings with cranes.

Mezzanines In Buildings: Intermediate mezzanine floors are possible in metal buildings. Mezzanine floors can be provided in complete or partial area in pre-engineered buildings to suit loading requirements for office and storage. Mezzanine floors consist of steel decks, supported by joists framed to the mezzanine beams. Main mezzanine beams normally run across the width of the building and are located under the main rafters while joists run parallel to the length of the building. The top flange of the joists fit immediately below the top flange of the mezzanine beam. Mezzanines are used for storage and Stacking of materials& other purposes.
